Joshua is a participant at Mai-Wel LabourForce Solutions (MWLFS) Disability Employment Services (DES) Cessnock and has already achieved great things on his employment journey, having gained an internship as a Kitchen Hand at local café, Quick Bites!

Joshua’s Case Manager Lucinda supported Joshua to seek employment and focus on what the future can hold with hard work and determination. The Business Development Team quickly and efficiently organised an internship with Quick Bites Café, knowing the company would support Joshua and help him to be comfortable in his new role.

Joshua is fitting in well with the work team and is developing new skills and confidence in learning and undertaking new tasks. Quick Bites Café are very impressed with Joshua and have provided a supportive environment that has encouraged Joshua’s growth and development in the world of work. This support is an incredible attribute of the well-known and loved Cessnock Café.

Upon successful completion of Joshua’s internship we are pleased to see him be offered a permanent part-time position with such a great supportive employer.

Great work Joshua!
