Sheree’s confidence has skyrocketed since gaining her employment with Thornton McDonalds in November of 2019.

While completing a Certificate II in Kitchen Operations through Mai-Wel LabourForce Solutions’ Disability Employment Service, Sheree developed a range of skills required to work within the Hospitality industry, including fundamental cooking skills, using hygienic practices and cleaning kitchen premises. These skills have been transferred into her new role and Sheree is thoroughly enjoying working life so far.

“While working at McDonalds, I have gained confidence through greeting and helping customers, taking meals out to customers, cleaning and interacting with people,” says Sheree.

“Overall, working at McDonalds has helped me build my customer service skills.”

Sheree says she is very content working at McDonalds. and the next step for her is to hopefully working there full time.

Well done Sheree on taking such a positive step forward in your working life.
