Wage subsidies are payments made to employers to help offset wage costs during the first few months of employment and claimed as a reimbursement. The wage subsidies aim to encourage employers to provide sustainable employment and assists to increase the competitiveness of these jobseekers.
How much are wage subsidies?
When you recruit through MWLFS, one of our employment specialists will guide you through the wage subsidy process.
- Youth Employment – Up to $10,000 for jobseekers aged 15 – 24.
- Disability Employment – Up to $1,650 for jobseekers registered with Disability Employment Services
- Restart – Up to $10,000 for jobseekers aged 50 and above.
