How We Support Your Vacancy

Submit your job directly to Mai‑Wel through our online vacancy form or through your connection to one of our Business Development Team specialists.

Tell us about the job description inclusive of duties performed, hours, skills, culture fit, any required licences and any other specifications of the position.

We refer the most suitable job seekers based on skills, interests and your business needs, aligned with the provider responsibilities to source vacancies and refer suitable participants.

We can help schedule interviews, support candidates, and advise on onboarding, job design and workplace adjustments as needed. 

If relevant, we help you access the Employment Assistance Fund (EAF) for workplace modifications or support services. 

Eligible employers hiring through Transition to Work, Parent Pathways or Inclusive Employment Australia may receive up to $10,000 to support onboarding costs for a new employee in an ongoing job. We can guide you through this setup. Read more about Wage Subsidies below.

Wage Subsidies

Your business may be eligible for a wage subsidy of up to $10,000 when you employ someone through Mai-Wel’s programs including Transition to Work, Parent Pathways and Inclusive Employment Australia.

Wage subsidies are payments made to employers to help offset wage costs during the first few months of employment and claimed as a reimbursement. We can offer a financial incentive to eligible employers to encourage employers to provide sustainable employment and assists to increase the competitiveness of these job seekers.

To access subsidies, you must:

  • Create a MyID account through Workforce Australia
  • Have a valid ABN
  • Have an active Workforce Australia Online for Business account verified with Digital ID (myID) and Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM).

The above must be completed within the required wage subsidy timeframe. When you work with us to recruit a staff member for your team, we will guide you through the process for wage subsidies.
