The transition from school to work can be tricky or even a bit scary. Stepping outside of the school routine and comfort zone can bring many questions; What do you do next? Would you like to work? Have you thought about a job that you would like to do? Do you feel confident to find a job yourself?

We support school leavers with disability to make their transition from school to work or study a bit easier. Our supports are fun and hands-on with an aim to build skills and confidence for work.

  • Participants who are eligible for the NDIS
  • Year 12 school leavers
  • School leavers who have completed a Functional Work Assessment to determine eligibility for SLES

Our participants have opportunities to gain hands-on work experience

Work experience is an important element of our supports for school leavers. It’s important for our participants to try different jobs and industries.

Check out just some of the opportunities available across the Hunter to our participants.
